Pets on leads of 6 feet or less are always welcome on the Greenway. Because of the Greenway’s proximity to Mud Creek (as well as for general courtesy and sanitation), pet owners are asked to take special care in cleaning up after their pets.
Pet’s Own Place Dog Park, an off-leash area for sociable dogs to romp and play, is located adjacent to the Greenway where it crosses Seventh Avenue. There is parking both along the Greenway and on the other side of Mud Creek at the dog park. There are separate areas for smaller and larger dogs. There is a watering station at the dog park for both pets and people; note it is wrapped and not available during cold winter months.
